Nomophobia or a no phone phobia is an anxiety which people face when they feel they could not get signal from a mobile tower, or run out of battery, forget to take the phone with them or simply could not receive calls, texts or emails. The living dead Buddhist monk- Hambo Lama Itigelov

There is a monk who died several years ago but is still known to be alive by the several monks. Hambo Lama Itigelov, a Buddhist monk, died at the age of 75 years. In 1926, since the red teaching was coming, he advised his other monks to leave Russia, though Itigelov never left. After a year, when he was of 75 years, he told his other monks that he is ready to die and he began all his meditation ceremonies, but the monks refused to do all ceremonies as he was still alive. So Itigelov started meditating on his own, later other monks also joined him. Itigelov died while meditating. It was his wish that he'd be buried in the same position as he died. It was done according to his said lines. In 1955 and 1977 when his body was taken out the monks were surprised to see no signs of physical decay on the body. The body looked like it died only 36 hours ago. Whole muscles and inner tissue intact and with soft joints and skin all in place. The monks were too afraid to reveal this astonishing finding.

The Flying car- a fantasy soon to come true.

Soon flying in the sky wont just be a dream, all thanks to the US company Terrafugia Inc, which boast of producing a flying car which can be driven flown by anyone. The flying car which is probably called TF-X will be a hybrid of a car, a helicopter and a plane, which can be driven and flown like a personal jet plane. The feature that sets aside this beautiful piece of marvel is that it wont need  runway to take off and land the vehicle, it will take off vertically from the ground just requiring a clearance of 100 ft. While the TF-X is in air, the turbine like gas engine located at the rear end of passenger seat will take over to let the machine fly. This feature is looked upon as making the flying a success which was absent in the companies previous venture- The Transition.

This new smartphone app developed by the UK doctors aims at promoting food memory so people are able to remember what they have eaten and encourage them not to any other high calorie food. This app has to be used in three parts, first part is that the user clicks the picture of his food before he eats it, secondly after finishing the meal, the individual looks at it and answer the question whether they finished it all and if they are full now. The last part is that before eating any further meals they look back at the pictures clicked in the course of the entire day and get a text message that urges them to remind them of the food they have eaten. The volunteers were able to lose 1.5 kilos on average during the study period.

If you cut an Australian bank note in half, each of those halves are legal tender worth half of the face value of note.

According to the Reserve Bank of Australia, a bank note with a significant piece missing is classified as incomplete. These bank notes may not be full worth value because the Reserve Bank need to take into account the possibility that the pieces of the bank note may be presented for value separately. The Reserve Bank policy is for the value of each piece of a bank note to be proportional to the part of he bank note remaining. In this way the combined value for all the pieces presented should be the face value of the original bank note. The value of the incomplete banknotes is determined in this way. If less than 20% of the bank note is missing, full face value is paid. If between 20% and 80% is missing, value is paid in proportion with the percentage remaining, for example $5 value for half of a $10 banknote. If more than 80% of the banknote is missing, no value is paid.

Human body is 1 cm. taller in the morning than in evening.

We are taller in the morning than in the evening because during normal activities during the day the cartilage in our knees and other areas slowly compress, but when you go to sleep and rest the cartilage goes back to normal. On average we are about 1 cm taller in morning than in the evening. Additional element of this trend is the articulation supplements reduce several of their synovial smooth and the connective flesh across the important joints usually turn out to be squeezed throughout the day by exercise and also seeking to counter-top this impacts involving gravity. Also, the discs of the spine do the same thing. During the night, they reabsorb more fluid making them thicker and the person taller. While walking or being upright during the day, they slowly lose some of this fluid and become thinner.

Soon, unlimited number of red blood cells can be created in lab.

Researchers have identified a noble approach to create an unlimited number of human red blood cells and platelets in vitro. The researchers from the Boston University School Of  Medicine (BUSM), Boston University School of Public Health (BUSPH) and Boston Medical Center (BMC), differentiated induced pluripotent stem (iPS) cells into these cell types, which are typically obtained through blood donations. This finding could potentially reduce  the need for blood donations to treat patients requiring blood transfusions and could help researchers examine novel therapeutic targets to treat a variety of diseases, including sickle cell disease. The study was led by George J Murphy, PhD, assistant professor of medicine at BUSM and co-director of the center for regenerative medicine (CReM) at Boston University and BMC and performed in collaboration with David Sheer, PhD, a professor in environmental health at BUSM and BUSPH.
